Why do we have Easter eggs?

EASTER EGGS
 
It doesn’t get
any more radical
than Easter Sunday.
For Jesus to come back
from the dead,
goes against all the
laws of the natural world
that we understand.
 
Easter is an amazing gift.
It gives us direct
insight of a world
yet to come.
Easter promises that
we will all come
back to life and
we will live forever.
 
It doesn’t get any
more radical, exciting,
exhilarating, hopeful
and wonderful than this.
 
Easter is the gift that frees us
from all that holds us back and
encourages us to become
all that we should be.
Our Easter eggs
are a reminder of this gift,
from one to another,
and for each of us, together.
